Video: Mississippi State Holds Memorial Service for Football Player and His Father

MISSISSIPPI STATE UNIVERSITY, Miss. (WCBI)- The Mississippi State family says good-bye to football player and his father who also wore the maroon and white. The two were killed in a car accident last Friday.

The university held a memorial service Thursday to remember the lives of Freshman defensive lineman Keith Joseph, Jr and his father Keith Senior who played on the team from 1989 to 1992.
Shared memories. Inspirational songs and loving embraces. A memorial service for Keith Joseph, Jr and his father Keith Joseph Sr brought the Bulldog family together at Humphrey Coliseum.
The entire Mississippi State football team came to show their support to their teammate’s family, mourn together, and hear words of comfort from their coach.
As the service came to an end, teammates gathered around for one last huddle with their friend.

The father and son will be laid to rest after funeral services in their hometown of Pascagoula Friday.
