WEST POINT, Miss.(WCBI)–Work continues and things are shaping up at the second professional golf course in West Point and Clay County. A partnership between Old Waverly Golf Club and Mossy Oak is making it happen.

Situated on a 180 acre site the destination type golf course is expected to rival any in the country.

Mossy Oak Golf Club will be open to the public, the last time we mentioned the course the grass was not green yet at the site. Visitors will be able to enjoy golf at one of two sporting sites.

With 18 holes, club house, full practice facility and lodging, the project is creating the ultimate in nature’s golf in a natural habitat.

A soft open is set for sometime in September.
