Video: Motorcycle Rally Returns to Sturgis

STURGIS, Miss. (WCBI) — After a 4-year break, a motorcycle rally is returning to the little town of Sturgis in western Oktibbeha County.

Organizers say response has been strong for the Sturgis rally’s return Aug. 15 through Aug. 17 at Dianne Jackson Memorial Park in downtown Sturgis.

The popular longtime rally was stopped three years ago due to funding issues and disagreements between city leaders and organizers over costs. Discussions finally resulted in an agreement earlier this year, spelling the rally’s return.
