Video: MSMS Students and Faculty Square Off on the Chessboard

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Students and teachers at the Mississippi School for Math and Science battled it out this afternoon…on the chessboard.

There was a little bit of a twist, all of the pieces were alive. Faculty and Students at MSMS organized the Human Chess match to celebrate the school’s ranking in a national publication.

MSMS placed 57th out of fifty-five hundred high schools across the country.

Things were a little less definitive on the chessboard. The match ended in a draw.
