Video: MUW Juried Student Exhibition Opens Thursday

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – The MUW Juried Student Exhibition opened Thursday, which includes 95 works of art.

28 students are represented in this year’s juried student exhibition. The pieces of art highlight the strengths of the Department of Art and Design.

The exhibition was juried by Ashley Chavis, an art faculty member from Northwest Mississippi Community College.

In addition to the media awards chosen by Chavis, art faculty from the W will assign three overall achievement awards. The exhibition runs through Friday March 6th in the Art and Design galleries.
