Video: MUW Students Hold Candlelight Vigil for Victims of Nepal Earthquake

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Nepali students at Mississippi University for Women held a candlelight vigil Thursday night.

Students from the earthquake battered country organized the event to remember the lives lost.

Right now, the death toll stands at 5,800  but some leaders fear those numbers could climb as high as 15,000.

MUW students are also collecting items non-perishable food, toiletries and other items to send to Nepal.

There are 34 Nepali students at The W.
