Video: No Bond For Man Accused in Itawamba County Stabbing Death

FULTON, Miss. (WCBI) -Bond is denied for the man accused of stabbing an Itawamba County woman to death.

52 year-old Jimmy Carpenter is charged with first degree murder. He is accused of killing 65 year-old Sharon Rose Johnson, who was found inside her home after an alarm company called deputies last Thursday.

Investigators say Carpenter was found in the woods behind Johnson’s house.

Johnson was stabbed multiple times.

Deputies believe Carpenter was acting as a caregiver for Johnson.
