Video: Noxubee County Holds Swearing In Ceremony

MACON, Miss. (WCBI) – A new class of elected officials is ready to get down to work in Noxubee County.

Family and friends joined 15 office holders as they were sworn in at the courthouse in Macon.

With the ceremony behind them, those who will be leading Noxubee County for the next 4 years say they’re anxious to get to work.

“I plan to be more open, more visible and more accessible to the community. I plan to involve the community in all activities concerning our elections, court terms, and whatever takes part in my office,” said Freda Phillips, Noxubee County Circuit Clerk.
