Video: Noxubee County Teen Facing New Charges

NOXUBEE CO., Miss. (WCBI) – A Noxubee County teenager, already out of jail on bond for aggravated assault, is facing new charges.

18-year-old Jamee Welch is charged with breaking and entering a truck and simple assault.

Noxubee County sheriff Terry Grasseree says Welch broke into a man’s truck and stole a gun.

The simple assault charge comes in connection with an incident involving his girlfriend.

Welch is also facing aggravated assault in the beating of Charles Womack, as well as being charged in an unrelated shooting incident Thanksgiving night..

He’s being held in the Noxubee County Jail.
