STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – Some Starkville residents want you to join the fight to end Alzheimer’s.

That’s why they hosted an Alzheimer’s Walk kickoff at the Starkville Sportsplex Thursday night.

Organizers want people to register for the walk, which is on Halloween at the new City Hall building downtown.

Local police officers and firefighters brought in a check for $584.00 to be used for the walk.

That money was raised from their softball tournament over the summer.
