Video: Oktibbeha County Sheriff’s Department Steps up Rural Patrols

OKTIBBEHA COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Oktibbeha County law enforcement are stepping up patrols in the western part of the county. That’s because firefighters have been battling brush and forest fires for more than three days there.

No arrests yet. But deputies are questioning drivers in the extremely rural area.

The Mississippi Forestry Department has stepped in, plowing fire breaks.
