Video: Pontotoc County Sportsmen Work to Strengthen Hunting Organization

ALGOMA, Miss. (WCBI) -They were talking turkey in Pontotoc County tonight. Local sportsmen gathered in Algoma to strengthen conservation efforts.

Pontotoc’s Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation met to start a rebuilding effort for the group. Local chapters work to raise money to preserve turkey habitats in the state. Most of the money they raise through membership fees and fundraising events like tonight’s silent auction stays in the area to benefit local projects.
