Video: Public Service Commissioner Makes a Stop in Aberdeen

ABERDEEN, Miss. (WCBI) — Leaders from the North Mississippi Public Service Commission are seeking the opinions of Monroe County residents. The tour covered three stops in Monroe County, including Aberdeen and Snithville to hear from the public on concerns and ways to improve renewable energy and how to cut down om power bills.

Northern District Commissioner Brandon Presley says they will help cut down utility bills throughout the county through companies such as ATMOS Energy.

“This year we’ll be rolling out plans of our major utilities across Mississippi arrived at reducing waste and cutting bills for consumers and businesses by keeping more of the people’s money in the products.”

Presley held another meeting at Amory City Hall Thursday night.
