VIDEO: Racial Disparities Grow in Women’s Health

COLUMBUS, Miss.l (WCBI)- Medical Experts say the disparities between race and health continue to grow.

A “health” report card is given to women in the US each year by the Alliance for a Just Society. The report card uses data from the Department of Health and Human Services.

African-American women scored the lowest grade out of all ethnic groups. WCBI’s Renae Skinner found two women of color who are making sure the only “F” they see, stands for “Fitness.”
