Video: Raises Are On The Horizon For Yalobusha County Employees

YALOBUSHA COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)-Some Yalobusha County employees will be getting a few extra dollars on their pay checks come this October.

Twenty-nine employees will be receiving a $50 raise starting October 1st after county officials made adjustments to the 2014-2015 budget last Thursday.

Raise costs will be $21,471.60.

The district’s road and bridge funds will help provide $2,900 towards the new raises.

County officials will hold a public budget hearing in September at the Coffeeville Courthouse.
