Video: Rowan Family Dentistry Provides Day of Free Services

NEW ALBANY, Miss. (WCBI) — A New Albany dentist provides a day of free services to the community.

Patients lined the sidewalk in front of Rowan Family Dentistry this morning.

It’s for the nationwide program, Dentistry From the Heart, which provides free dental work.

The clinic offered three services: a cleaning, a filling or an extraction.

The event is a way for the dentist to give back and help those who aren’t able to pay for regular care.

“I think by doing this you give an opportunity to people that are in your community — that are in your area — to know, ‘Hey there are people out there that care about me.’ And plant that seed that God says to do good things, and I think if we do that, he’ll honor that and bless us,” Dr. Kevin Rowan with Rowan Family Dentistry said.

At least 65 people were expected to receive dental care today.
