Video: Seaport Airlines Shows Off Newest Plane In Fleet

TUPELO, MISS. (WCBI) – Passengers flying out of the Tupelo Regional Airport will soon be traveling on a new plane.

Seaport Airlines just purchased three Cessna Grand Caravans.One of the planes made a stop in Tupelo this afternoon.

The planes will take passengers from Tupelo to either Memphis or Nashville.Officials say the planes feature state of the art navigation systems and will enhance the travel experience for customers.

“We have a multi prong approach, we are rolling out brand new aircraft, we just converted over to the best reservation system in the country earlier this year, and we’re starting to roll out interline partnerships with major airlines so fairly soon you will be able to buy tickets on Seaport connecting directly to major airline partners to be able to travel anywhere in the world out of Nashville or Memphis,” said Seaport CEO Rob McKinney.

Seaport has five flights from Tupelo each day. Three flights go to Nashville, two go to Memphis.
