NORTHEAST Miss. (WCBI) -Tonight…we are dealing with the slush left behind from today’s sleet, freezing rain and snow…

Most major highways are clear, except a few icy spots on bridges.

However, many county roads in the viewing, especially north of the Golden Triangle, are still slick tonight.

NORTHEAST, Miss. (WCBI) -Layers of accumulated sleet and ice made for a difficult travel day. Another round of winter weather, meant for yet another busy day for the Mississippi Highway Patrol and surrounding law enforcement..

Tonight, brings another round of concerns as residual precipitation could refreeze, making bridges and overpasses very dangerous.Here now with an update on conditions as they are at this hour. As well as a recap of the day is Staff Sergeant Criss Turnipseed with Troop G out of Starkville.
