Video: Snowfall in Bruce

BRUCE, Miss.(WCBI)–Some Calhoun County children took the opportunity to play in the snow today[Friday]. Even though it was not as much as the large snowfall nearly a year ago last February, it was enough for those kids.

The parking lot and classrooms at Bruce Upper Elementary School were empty early friday morning, students were at home due to weather conditions.

“We didn’t even, people told us at school that it was going to snow but we didn’t know it would be, we thought it would be just a little bit but its more than we thought,” said Amaiya Daniel/Bruce.

And the moment the snow began falling…..a young meteorologist tried unsuccessfully to explain the weather pattern which gave him the opportunity to play in the white stuff with his sister.
