Video: Starkville Aldermen Approve TIF

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — Starkville is one step closer to landing a major sporting goods retailer.

On Tuesday night, aldermen approved a tax increment financing package to help pay for the Academy Sports development.

The TIF is worth $1.5 million.

Oktibbeha County supervisors will hold a public hearing February 1 on their share of the money.
