STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI)-Several Starkville residents voiced their opinions on the possible changes to the cities design standards.

The code would allow brick, wood and cement siding while excluding metal buildings and some other material.

The board will hold another public hearing September 16th.

In other business, the board approved medical insurance benefit plans for Starkville city employees of single parent homes and benefits for their spouses.
