Video: Starkville Church Hosts Easter Egg Hunt

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — Children of all ages spent their Saturday morning hunting 2,000 Easter eggs in hopes of getting the best prizes.

The egg hunt was hosted by Life Church in Starkville at McKee Park for families to enjoy this holiday weekend.

Along with an Easter Egg Hunt, Prizes and free hotdogs were offered to all those hungry Easter Egg hunters.

One organizer says it’s a way to serve the community while remembering the important holiday.

“There is two times of the year that are most significant celebration for us as christians and Easter and so it’s something we want everybody in our community to look forward to those two times of the year,” says John Daniels.

Life Church spent several weeks preparing for the event.
