Video: Starkville Man Arrested Following Home Invasion

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — He went to the ER with a gunshot injury and ended up in jail, charged in an Oktibbeha County home invasion.

Sheriff Steve Gladney says deputies were notified when 21-year-old Marcus Johnson showed up at the hospital in West Point with a gunshot wound to the hand.

Investigators believe Johnson is one of three suspects who forced their way into a home in the University Hills Trailer Park Friday night around 9 o’clock demanding money.

Gladney says multiple shots were fired during the incident, and the suspects fled. None of the victims in the house were injured.

Johnson is charged with armed robbery and is being held at the Oktibbeha County Jail.

Gladney says Johnson has not provided any information on the identities or whereabouts of the other two suspects.
