Starkville, Miss. (WCBI) – Some middle school students are finding their SWAG from leaders in the community. The Junior Auxiliary of Starkville’s Strength Finders’ SWAG or Study, Work hard, Achieve, Give back program wrapped up today. Students were given a personality test, then speakers were brought in to match the personality types to talk about finding the right career for them.

“We found that junior high lack a lot of programs, reached out just for them. So, we decided to be here at Armstrong Middle School to create a program just for them so they felt like they were important and special to our community.”

Starkville Mayor Parker Wiseman, former NFL player and restaurant owner Donald Lee, and former Miss USA Shauntay Hinton spoke to the students.
