Video: Starkville Police Looking Into Alleged Threat

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) -Starkville Police are looking into a claim that someone was confronted by two armed men. The person also made claims on social media.

Investigators say they received a call that two black males approached the man with a gun on Highway 12.

“That was probably Thursday or Friday. That same individual never reported that to the Starkville Police Department. On Saturday, that individual called and said that he had saw the two people that brandished a gun a couple days prior at Walmart. During that time, they never threatened him at Walmart, never showed him another gun at Walmart…”

Starkville P.D. says it is taking the claim seriously. The investigation is continuing.
