Video: Testimony Continues in Columbus Fairgrounds Murder Case

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI)  – A witness tells a Lowndes County jury a deadly shooting at a graduation party started with a spilled drink.

The second day of testimony continued today in Kale Scott’s murder trial.

Scott is accused of killing 21 year-old Devin Lamar Montgomery in May 2014 at the Columbus fairgrounds.

Tuessday, a security guard testified he was breaking up another fight when the gunfire erupted. He said he had broken up one scuffle between Scott and Montgomery.

It’s estimated more than two hundred people were at the party.

The jury could start deliberating as early as Wednesday.
