Video: The Starkville Boys and Girls Club Honor Kids For Completing Life Coach Program

STARKVILLE, Miss.(WCBI)-Friday night, children at the Starkville Boys and Girls Club were awarded for their participation in the Life Coach program.

Over the last several months, kids completed different sessions that would help them better understand real life.

The children even had guest speakers from former drug addicts to previous gang members who shared their stories to students in hopes they don’t make the same mistakes.

One life coach says this program is helping kids make better choices while building a strong foundation.

“Is living your life for Christ. And that’s basically that’s what we can do as far as to live on and we even get told in ways not to go and what to do what directions not to take,” says Candace Lee Williams.

A meal was provided for the kids and parents at Friday nights event.
