Video: Timber Removal At Courthouse Site

WEBSTER COUNTY, Miss.(WCBI) — Driving along Hwy 9 in Webster County at the intersection of Hwy 50 in Walthal, its plain to see that timber is being cut down.

The areas of land southwest of the intersection is to be the site of the new Webster County Courthouse.

FJH Logging had the $3,000 bid for the work to clear the 7 acres spot of land.

The courthouse burned January 17th 2013.
