TUPELO, Miss.  (WCBI) — Healthworks in Tupelo is looking to lower the obesity statistic in Mississippi, one child at a time.

Three nights a week, parents and 23 children, ages 8 through 13 who are considered overweight, continue their journey to weight loss.

Everyone participates in an exercise class, as well as educational sessions about how to plan healthy meals.
