Video: Trent Harmon Returns Home

MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Hundreds of fans lined around Longhorn Fish and Steak house, owned and operated by Trent Harmon’s family.

Harmon spent some time at the restaurant meeting fans, signing autographs and taking pictures Friday evening.

He snagged the title of the final American Idol winner just a few weeks ago.

Harmon says the community’s support means everything to him.

“They voted, they got me to this point, all I did was show up and sing songs. I had to work hard but they worked even harder than I did to keep the momentum going. So the proof is standing out there waiting to get in here and get a picture. So I’m ready to do it,” said Trent Harmon.
Harmon says he will be going on a radio-show tour.

He will get to work on his 11 song album soon.
