Video: Tupelo Detective Division Moves Across Town

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) -The Tupelo Police Department is making a major move. As of Wednesday, the law enforcement agency has moved operations from the Downtown location to Lemons Drive, near the airport.

This relocation is an effort to reunite all the departments under one roof after the the detectives unit was forced to move after black mold caused several employees to get sick in mid March.

The new move is still working out a few kinks. There will be a delay in phone and computer network installation. The Public Works Department has installed signs along Jackson Street and Lemons Drive to direct motorists to the new location.
