TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – The anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks is a time to remember the lives lost that horrible day and to thank those who are still here to save lives.
Tonight, first responders from Lee County and surrounding areas were thanked for their work at St. James Catholic Church.

Law enforcement, fire fighters, paramedics, along with active and retired military personal were there and honored for their service.  The annual Patriot’s Day Service is normally held at First Christian Church but it was destroyed in the April 28th tornado.
