TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) — Every five years for more than 20 years, Tupelo voters have gone to the polls to approve a 10 mill property tax to fund a major road program.

Now they can help shape the plan the way they’ll like it before it comes time to vote.

The city’s major Throughfare program wants input on road improvements and where new streets are needed.

Residents can answer a survey on Tupelo’s website, or pick up a paper version at City Hall.

The results will be used to put together the 5-year plan residents will vote on in 2016.
