VIDEO: Two Arrested In Connection With Pontotoc County Murder

PONTOTOC CO., Miss. (WCBI) – Two people are being questioned in connection with the first homicide this year in Pontotoc County.

Early Tuesday morning, sheriff’s deputies were called to 103 Owen Bend Road to investigate a report of shots fired.

When they arrived, deputies found 33-year-old Justin Judon with a gunshot wound.

Judon died a short time later and Pontotoc County Sheriff Leo Mask says two people were taken into custody at the scene.

They are still being held and Sheriff Mask expects to file murder charges soon.

He says investigators are still trying to find out what sparked the shooting.
