STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — Every now and then the numbers line up in sequential order like for instance July 7th, 2007 or 7-7-07. This Saturday’s numbers represents another one of those unique dates.

And a couple is getting married in Columbus this weekend on a date they may remember for a life time.

Starkville bride-to-be Leslee Miller is all smiles as she and her maid of honor stops by a local nail salon. The future bride that’s sure to be blushing prepares herself for her nuptial with her Caledonia bow Joey Cox.

“We know that we wanted a December wedding for Christmas, and we didn’t want it the week before Christmas or on Christmas. So we chose like kind of two weeks out. And when we looked at the date and it was 12-13-14, we were like we have to keep it now that, you know its such a unique number,” said Leslee Miller/Starkville Bride-To-Be.

Vibrant Church in Columbus is where Joey and Leslee met each other. They got engaged and on Saturday December 13, 2014 they’ll be married.

It’s not that Joey and Leslee are superstitious or believe heavily in the luck of the draw when it comes to numbers.

“Not necessarily, I think it’s just a coincidence that, are cool things to have,” said Leslee Miller.

Be that as it may, one thing is certain, both bride and groom are more likely to remember each anniversary they have together — hopefully for a life time.

“I hear a lot of couples that got married on 11-11-11 or things like that. And I never even thought that would be something. Cause that wasn’t even something I was looking for you know. So It’ll just be neat to look back, you know on numbers that were in line,” said Leslee Miller.

After their nuptial Saturday on 12-13-14, the bride and groom plans on honeymooning in the Caribbean.
