STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – The United Way of Central Mississippi kicked off its annual fundraising campaign Wednesday.

The Chapter hosted a luncheon for the agencies its serves and donors.  The goal this year is $250,000.00 to support the agencies the chapter serves in Choctow, Winston, Oktibbeha, and Webster counties.

Nearly 100% of the money raised will go back into the communities.

“We have 15 agencies that we support and all of them have needs, and so we need to be able to collect as much money as we can so that we can help them with the limits and goals they need to reach from us.”

The fundraising campaign ends December 30th.
