Video: Veterans Raise Money for Lowndes County “Field of Dreams”

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) -Some special athletes get a big boost from area veterans.

Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4272 donated $10,000.00 to Golden Triangle Outdoors Friday night at Propst Park in Columbus.

The money is for the group’s effort to build a field of dreams for special needs kids.

The check was presented before Friday night’s Challenger League game

To date, the Post has has kicked in $20,000.00 to the project.
