Video: Volunteer Starkville Turns out for ‘Day of Service’

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – The Starkville Fire Department had some helping hands around the station Wednesday.

Volunteer Starkville gathered up recruits at about 3:30 p.m. and headed to Fire Station 1 on East Lampkin St.

Volunteers took a load off firefighter’s shoulders as they helped clean fire trucks.

The project was part of Volunteer Starkville’s “Serving Those Who Serve Us” initiative, and included any other cleaning tasks requested of the volunteers.
