Video: Wednesday Afternoon Accident Sends Two to the Hospital

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – An accident in Columbus leaves one vehicle on its side and sends two people to the hospital.

It happened Wednesday afternoon around 1:30 on Highway 45 near The Little Dooey restaurant.

Witnesses say a black Ford Explorer was going south when a Mercury Mountaineer pulled out in front of it.

The impact caused the mercury to flip on its side.

Two people were taken to the hospital.

Columbus police are investigating the accident.
