WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI) -Four wheelers are very popular this time of year. Now, ATV’s are being stolen from the front yard of West Point homes.

And police need your help finding the thieves.  Investigators say four-wheelers, dirt bikes, trailers and vehicles started disappearing earlier this year.

In fact, West Point police are investigating ten theft cases.

Many of the ATV’s are worth thousands of dollars and are being painted after being taken.

The crooks are also removing bars, as another way of disguising the utility vehicles. Right now, officers need information they hope will lead them to the thieves.

“We’re not looking to prosecute you if you have personally bought a used bike, but we are asking for your cooperation in the investigation”>

The Clay County Sheriff’s Department is working three ATV theft investigations. If you have any information, call Golden Triangle Crime Stoppers.
