Video: West Point Property Owners Catch a Break

WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI) — West Point homeowners will not see a property tax increase. The Board of Selectmen voted to keep the city’s millage rate the same as last fiscal year.

Selectmen were required to make a move on the rate after the Clay County Board of Supervisors adopted property tax rolls.Millage rates are based on property value in order to calculate property taxes.
