Video: West Point Teen Indicted for October Murder

CLAY COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — A 15-year-old accused of murdering his father last year has been indicted for the shooting.

Devonte Kelly was indicted for the murder of Randy Kelly on October 31 in West Point.

Devonte will be charged as an adult.

His murder trial is set for July 14 in Clay County with Judge Lee Howard presiding.

Randy Kelly was found dead in his bedroom from a gunshot wound to the head.

At the time, Devonte was nowhere to be found, but was later apprehended and charged.

Bond has been set at $125,000.
