LOUISVILLE, Miss.(WCBI)–Winston Medical Center officials and board of trustees responsible for providing health care to Louisville and Winston County gather at Lake Tiak-O’Khata.

As construction of a new hospital continues, a working lunch meeting gave hospital trustees a chance to ask questions and get up to date answers on the ongoing process.

The hospital was severely damaged during the 2014 April tornado.

The new facility will have more than 120 beds, which will be split between the hospital and nursing home. Design of the site is slightly different from back in March.

“Its to give them that type of impression and to let them know how much its going to cost, and then how we are going to pay for it cause there is some debt involved,” said Paul Black/CEO Winston Med. Center.

“Lot of things have evolved, the finance pieces the design pieces, but this was an opportunity today to, that culmination of design and finance, we can reveal the board of directors up close and personal,” said Mayor Will Hill/Louisville.

The new hospital should be completed by 2017.
