JACKSON, MS (WCBI) – The woman federal prosecutors say planned the kidnapping of a Kemper County child will spend 25 years in prison. Jesse Mae Brown Pollard received that term today in federal court on Jackson.  The Northport Alabama woman was convicted last year of taking the child from East Kemper Elementary school.  Prosecutors say the kidnapping was part of a land dispute between Pollard and the child’s mother.  Pollard and others connected to the case kept the child for two days before releasing her unharmed.  The five others implicated have already been sentenced to prison terms ranging from 8 months to one year.
