Wrap It Up In Blue And White

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Some Columbus “Black and Whites” are getting a touch of Blue this April. Columbus Police Officers are decking out their patrol cars with Blue Ribbon magnets in recognition of National Child Abuse Awareness Month. Columbus firefighters are also participating.

The Columbus Exchange Club is providing the magnets for the vehicles and Blue Ribbon pins for emergency responders to wear.

As part of their month long efforts to raise awareness of child abuse during the “Believe in the Blue” campaign, the Exchange Club has also tied blue ribbons around the light posts on Main street in Columbus.
