Walnut Woman Dies In Tuesday Crash

(BENTON COUNTY, Ms) WCBI –  A Walnut woman is dead after her car slammed head on into a 18 wheeler Tuesday night in Benton County.  State Trooper Ray Hall says 43 year old Jennifer Hopkins was Westbound on Highway 72 near the Tippah County line  when she lost control of her Chevy Blazer, crossed the median and struck the Semi head on.   The Oklahoma man driving the truck was treated for minor injuries at a local hospital .
