Weekend Crash Kills Oxford Teen

COMO, Miss. (AP) – An Oxford teen was killed in a Panola County car accident late Saturday night.

The Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal reports (http://bit.ly/176w7E3 ) 17-year-old Sarah Bial was pronounced dead at the scene, and four others were injured.

The accident took place at 11:45 p.m. on Highway 310 at the intersection of Hunter Chapel Road.

One of the injured teens was airlifted to the Med in Memphis and another was taken to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital. Two others were taken by ambulance to Tri-Lakes Medical Center in Batesville. The injured teens’ names were not released.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating the wreck.
