West Alabama Man Arrested for Selling Steroids

COKER, Miss. (WCBI) – A west Alabama man is arrested for illegally selling steroids.

47-year-old Ronald Wedgeworth, Jr. was arrested at his Coker home Sunday morning after the West Alabama Narcotics Task Force raided it.

The agents found liquid and powder steroids, powder Viagra, marijuana, two handguns and other drug paraphernalia used to make steroids.

Police say the items recovered had a street value of $200,000. They believe Wedgeworth was a major supplier in areas of West Alabama and East Mississippi.

Wedgeworth is charged with second-degree possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Also first-degree manufacturing a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance.

He remains in the Tuscaloosa County Jail with a bond of $325,000.
