West Main Traffic In Tupelo To Switch Lanes Tuesday

TUPELO, Miss. (PRESS RELEASE) – Beginning Tuesday, weather permitting, Prairie Construction will be installing the crosswalks on Main Street at Green, Broadway, Spring and Front streets.

The work will occur on the north side of the street, with traffic lanes and parking on the south side.

Truck traffic will be detoured at Crosstown and Elizabeth streets – Gloster to President to Spring to Elizabeth and East Main.

The route is reversed for westbound traffic – East Main to Elizabeth to Spring to President to Gloster.

Delivery vehicles will be allowed to drive Main Street to their destinations.
