WEST POINT, Miss.(WCBI)–A West Point march in honor of the drum major for justice is reminiscent of the 60’s as marchers waving signs and carrying banners kept alive the King dream.

The Journey: Fulfilling The Dream was the theme. Guest speaker and former West Point Attorney Randolph Walker insists the struggle must go on for a dream some believe has not yet been realized.

“We have not reached where we want to be but we have made some progress,” said Randolph Walker/Guest Speaker.

“He wanted justice for everyone, not just for the blacks, but he wanted for the Whites,he wanted justice for everyone,” said Alma Brown/West Point Marcher.

A march concluded with a program at Central School with a celebration at the Center Stage Auditorium.
